The year 2012 will see In IUSTITIA busy working on the In JUSTICE – Legal Aid for Hate Crime Victims project, supported by the EVZ foundation and the OSF Prague.

As far as new projects are concerned, this January we launched the Legally Against Anti-Semitism project, funded by the Foundation for Holocaust Victims. The project will include several informational activities aimed at aiding persons threatened by anti-Semitism and hate violence.

The JusTEEN Against Hate Violence project, supported by Prague City Hall, is still under way in 2012.

Throughout 2012, In IUSTITIA will also continue working on the Me and Them Equals Us II project, an educational programme aimed at supporting multicultural education at educational institutions. In this phase, we will focus on developing the competencies of teachers regarding the comprehensive topic of MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION. The project is funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.

This educational programme, which supports multicultural education and pro-democratic approaches at school, will also include the Me and Them Equals Us – Learning Together II project. This spin-off project will bring together Czech and German teachers and is supported by the Czech-German Future Fund.

In July, In IUSTITIA launched the six-month JusTEEN Against Hate Violence in Prague 7 project, which took place in the Prague 7 Municipal District; and in August, we launched the JUST CZECH project funded by the US Embassy in Prague.
