Need Help? The Justine Counselling Centre

The Justine Counselling Centre, founded and run by In IUSTITIA, offers two registered services: professional social counselling under the Act on Social Services (Act No. 108/2006 Coll.), and provision of legal information under the Act on Crime Victims (Act No. 40/2009 Coll.).

The Justine Counselling Centre provides aid to persons exposed to hate violence and/or manifestations of intolerance, especially racism, anti-Semitism, islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia or violence for reasons of age, gender, health, social status, or identifying as a part of a subculture.

In addition, the counselling centre also provides aid to victims of all criminal acts.

Professional Social Counselling

The Justine Counselling Centre provides professional social counselling to persons exposed to hate violence, hate violence victims and persons close to them. The service is offered for both non-urgent cases and directly in the field, and aims to provide enough information and support for the client to be able to navigate and manage the situation on their own.

Provision of Legal Information

The Justine Counselling Centre provides legal information to victims of hate violence or any other criminal act. The service is offered for both non-urgent cases and directly in the field, and aims to provide enough legal information for the client to be able to understand the situation and improve their access to justice. Through this intervention, the Justine Counselling Centre prevents secondary victimization often caused by the insensitive behaviour of relevant authorities.
